Ok so Bret had to go to a training in St. Louis for a week so I decided to keep myself busy I would redecorate our family room. Isn't that what everyone does??? I first decided that I needed to repaint, yes we had professional painters already paint the room, but I wanted to spice it up and paint 3 of the walls. Then I decided the room needed an entertainment center. I have been looking for one for a few months, but I finally decided to pull the trigger and purchased it. I am very impulsive so all of this redecorating only lasted a day because when I get something in my mind it needs to be done right away!!! I painted and did everything on Monday...great so now what was I supposed to do for the rest of the week, real smart Kelly. When Bret got home the entertainment center wasn't in yet and when he saw my painting he said he didn't like it, I was soooo mad. He said it looked like his grandpa's apartment. Ok so at this point I really wanted him to go back to St. Louis. However, once the entertainment center was put in he told me that he loved it. Not really do I care what he thinks, but no one likes to hear all of the hard work was for nothing. So here are a few pictures of the before and after as well as my paint helper.

And that is real proof why men SHOULDN'T open their mouths till the project is complete! They are so totally unable to visualize... oh I could go on and on, lol... I think the new "room do" looks FABULOUS! Tell Bret I said "Nanny nanny boo boo"... ;o)
I love the room decorating. I especially love the helper. She is too cute. Love that kid.
